Daniel,
glassfish v2 has its own in memory session replication mechanism so if
you don't really want to have 99.999% availability, its fine, you don't
need HADB
if you are looking for 99.999% availiability, then wait until glassfish
v3 beta 3, which will be certified with HADB.
