I am preparing a web application for a local school and the hosting company that has been selected offers a choice of Debian and CentOS. Does anyone have any thought on the relative merits of running an application server on those two operating systems?
While were at it, any thoughts on the realtive merits of GlassFish vs Tomcat? I like running GlassFish on my WinXP box but I don't know how easy it would be to install or manage on one of the two flavors of Linux.
