Hi Jeanfrancois,

>sorry for the delay....

No problem.
After trying in 3 forums the last week i am really very happy that someone reponse:)

> Have you try with Tomcat to see if you are able to force Apache to do what your want (just a test :-)). If that doesn't work, then we know the problem is with your configuration.

No i did not - would have to install and configure all.
Because currently i am only running SJSAS without Apache on my developing system.
And there domains/apps with serveral virtual server are working perfect.

The only difference (admin console) to the production system, is that on developing system, i have created my own HTTP-Listener on Port 80 and attached it to the VirtualServer.
On production system with Apache in front, no HTTP-Listener is defined on 80 and the field HTTP-Listener in the VirtualServer window is empty.
The forward of Apache request is done to first found Virtual Server (independend to the name of the virtual server).

Perhaps i have to do some additional configurations, which i currently don't now? For example:
- special connector properties
- new listeners in SJSAS
- special configuration parameters in web application descriptor

Or could you say if connection works with one application, its only an configuration issue, which can be done in admin web interface?

> On another topic, why do you need to do it using Apache? You can do it directly in GlassFish by properly defining the hosts value of the virtual-server.

I am developer (freelancer), for administration my knowledge is not enough.
Also want to use my time mainly for developing and not for administration/security.
(which is not easy in my opinion).

Now i had to switch my hoster in short term and i could choose between:
1. Rent dedicated server + rent an administrator
2. Rent an managed server

Second was faster to get it running and has a lot of default things like sql, email, ticket system, ... ready and standardized. But i have to use the Apache in front.

thanx,
