I am admittedly grasping at straws, but could you try making one more
backup copy of the old updated installation and clean up the content in
the OSGi cache directory of the default domain (it is under
domains/domain1/osgi-cache/felix). Then start the domain and see if you
can get AdminGUI up and running.
