Hi Gurnoorinder,
I have seen this problem before when one is using JRE instead of JDK.
You need to have JDK installed.
If you look at the first line in server.log, you will see something
like:
Mar 27, 2009 12:08:56 AM
com.sun.enterprise.admin.launcher.GFLauncherLogger info
INFO: JVM invocation command line:
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home/bin/java
-cp
/Users/anilam/Awork/V3/v3/glassfish/modules/glassfish.jar:/Users/anilam/bin/junit.jar
-Xdebug
-Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=9009
the first line will tell you which java it is using.
thanks
Anissa.

Hey,
I get the error when i click on the help button in the update tool. It
almost happens for all the modules of the glassfish. I am attaching a
screen shot along with this mail.
