I got the following reply from Paul. It is not a doc bug, please
read. Thanks Paul.

-----

The text in the installation instructions suggests that the distribution
that is available from the GlassFish comunnity (GlassFish v2 or
GlassFish v2.1) does not support silent installation. However, the
distribution that is available from Sun (SJS App Server 9.1 or Sun
GlassFish Enterprise Server v2.1) does support silent installtion.

For details, see:

- To Install Sun GlassFish Enterprise Server in Silent Mode
       http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-4330/ggyjk?a=view
- To Install Application Server 9.1 Update 1 in Silent Mode
       http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-3797/gfnmv?a=view

Thanks,
Judy
