Folks;

not sure whether this is the same issue or just loosely related to this:

On my different testbed systems (Ubuntu 8.10, Solaris x86) I am also unable
to get the b35 admin console to work, no matter whether I downloaded /
unpacked a "vanilla" b35 .zip or actually updated one of my installations to
b35 using the web admin console update center. In both situations and on
both platforms I failed to get the admin gui to work, failing in various
ways, not sure depending upon what:

- After some appserver restarts, trying to access the domain ends up in the
usual "admin console is available but not yet loaded" screen which lasts
until I close the browser and/or restart the app server, nothing else
happening (except for vague log messages stating that the console is in
state "loaded"). The same goes for restarting an app server after doing an
update which ends up in the log file filling up with messages about the
console application being updated, temporary / backup files being removed
which seems to repeat all over again without coming to an end.

- In some cases, I also see the "state 'loaded'" message in the log, but
trying to access the admin console just ends up in a white page in the
browser, no more output whatsoever.

Anything to add to this? :) JDK is 1.6.something on both systems...

Cheers & all the best,
Kristian
