This is probably the same issue as issue 4903

am not able to reproduce the problem on my Ubuntu 8.04 box using
JDK6U10. It has something to do with Java Accessibility Bridge for
GNOME component according to Snjezana. Could you set your JAVA_HOME to
some other JDK version and see if it works.
