Hi Adam,
I am not able to reproduce the register notifier issue on my Vista
system using build 20. However, I forwarded your message to the
installer developer and she thinks that updatetool and pkg got correctly
installed, and the notifier registration failure and bat file error
messages are not critical. In addition, she would like to know which
packages are present in the list of installed components and which are
in the list of available components. Perhaps this is a corner case.
Could you just file the bug anyway so we can keep track of it, and
please include the requested info. Below is the log file:
