AFAIK:
1) maybe glassfish can release a new 3.x based on the fixing, then, you
can use the release. However, I have not seen the plan. :)
2) asking hk2 team to release a new version of 1.x. maybe jwells can
answer your question better.
3) if 1) and 2) is not ok, just as jeremy's said, you must build hk2 1.x
yourself.
