JSF Managed Beans or Web Beans ?

I'm trying to replace a JSF managed bean with a WebBean. So I added an
empty "beans.xml" in WEB-INF directory and removed @ManagedBean
annotation on the JSF managed bean.

With build 63, everything works if it's a JSF managed bean. The bean is
not injected if it's a WebBeans. Do I need to do something else in order
to get the bean injected ?

Is this the expected behavior ?

Thanks,
-Arun
