I just wrote a bug report for an issue we found with the use of a
container managed transaction with a method that does not access a
datasource.
We found an issue that might be related to it in the issue tracker,
which you closed because you could not reproduce it.
I'm not sure whether they are actually related, but many of the classes
and methods we see in our stacktrace are also mentioned in that issue.
Maybe you would like to have a look at our reproducible test case to see
if it could shed some light on the problem mentioned in that issue too.
