I think I see what you mean.
I took a quick look and the AutoDeployDirectoryScanner class - pulled
over from the original v2 code base - checks to see if each file in the
directory ends with one of several "known" suffixes.
We'll need to revisit this. There should be no dependence on the file
types, name suffixes, etc. in the autodeployer any more than there is in
any other type of deployment. This will probably have to wait until
after JavaOne, though.
