I have just checked in several files that implement autodeployment in v3
(in core/kernel).
My testing has shown auto-deployment of war files is working fine.
The auto-deploy feature is also intended to support auto-deployment of
directories. All the logic to do that should be in place (essentially
unchanged from v2) but I have not tested that aspect of auto-deployment
yet. I plan to do some of that next week.
