The large number of errors generates a lot of noise, and these errors
are trivially fixed via the insertion of the keyword 'final'.

I'll take up the task of putting the 'final' keyword in to fix *all*
of these, but I need YOUR go-ahead if you're a module owner.

Please advise YES or NO if that is OK with you (as the module owner).

ALSO, please list the cvs modules you are responsible for.
