I am seeing this problem on Linux x86, Solaris x86 systems.
Solaris on sparc, Windows 2000,Windows XP don't show this behaviour (at
least for me), provided ant jars are copied before ant is started. If we
don't want to fork off another process for sending out just email
attachments,then one option is to invoke ant from maven with -lib
pointing to all relevant jars.
ant -lib /home/ant/extras
This is possible only after ANT 1.6
