Got a response regarding sorting search results in chronological order
from Matt Quail at Cenqua.

Currently, there isn't a way to sort search results in chronological
order? FishEye team has a plan to implement this in the FishEye 1.1
timeframe.

Depending on your query, however, there is a work-around. If you query
involves a single tag, branch, author, etc, you can go to the Changelog
view and enter your query as a constraint. Since the Changelog is
chronological, the results are obviously sorted by date.

Hope this helps.
