Hello,
I have a question/issue.
I've tried to run such command:
$ ssh liz-vm8 $S1AS_HOME/bin/asadmin start-local-instance in2
CLI801 Instance is already synchronized
Waiting for the server to start ..........
Successfully started the instance: in2
instancelocation: C:\elena\glassfishv3\glassfish\nodeagents\liz-vm8\in2
Log File:
C:\elena\glassfishv3\glassfish\nodeagents\liz-vm8\in2\logs\server.log
Admin Port: 14848
Command start-local-instance executed successfully.
But I never got a prompt back. What I can do only, to execute Ctrl-C.
At the same time I've executed jps on the remote machine (liz-vm8), to
check ASMain process. But new ASMain process was not created
If to execute the same command locally, the prompt would be returned and
and a process would be created..
I can not classify it is as bug, but I think it could be an issue if
somebody would like to configure everything remotely, using some script.
At least that person has to know that start-local-instnace should not
be used.
I did not see this issue for other commands and I saw this issue only on
Windows.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Elena
