This appears to be a question about being able to run GlassFish from a
CD, i.e., read-only storage.
Is this possible?
Assuming that JSPs have already been precompiled, does GlassFish write
to anywhere other than the logs directory?
I tried running GlassFish from a USB stick set to read-only, and it
couldn't get the lock for writing the log file (make sense), and then
the server appeared to hang without starting successfully.
Thanks.
