This is correct. The resource adapter deployment descriptor [ra.xml] need
not be modified to work with other application servers/MoM products

That is correct. The resource-adapter config is Sun Java System Application
Server/J2EE RI' mechanism for overriding the values of the RA JavaBean
properties. Other application servers could have other mechanisms
[appserver specific ra.xml etc] for achieving the same.
