Aim

In this module, you learn what components are available in the Data Visualization (DVT) set of components, and how to use them. You learn:

• The various data visualization components available for exposing data
• The different type of graphs you can use
• Details about how to create gauges, geographic maps, pivot tables, gantt charts, hierarchy viewers, and thematic maps

You also see a series of related demonstrations that show you how to:

• Create a couple of pages to display a dashboard and a hierarchy
• Use an application on OTN that exposes examples of DVT components

After completing this module you should be able to:

• List all the available data visualization components
• Know how to use the various graphs on a page
• Select the most appropriate component to represent your data
• Access and use a predefined sample application that exposes all the DVT components
