Step 9Use the Create Project page to specify basic details for your project including the project name, number, and project start date.
Step 10Quick Entry fields defined on a project template control the project details captured on the projects created using that template. For example, apart from the default required fields such as Project Name and Project Number, the project template may require that you specify a project manager and project administrator, or a funding source.
Step 11Enter the desired information into the Project Name field. Enter "InFusion Construction Redevelopment".
Step 12The project number is generated automatically, or you can enter a number, based on an implementation option for the project unit.
Enter the desired information into the Project Number field. Enter "InFusion_Redev_1181".
Step 13Organization and legal entity information are inherited from the project template. Revise them if required.
Step 14Specify a funding source. In the selected project template, Funding Source is a Quick Entry field based on project categories and codes.
Project categories and codes are implementation-defined methods of classifying projects for reporting purposes.
Click the Funding Source list.
Step 15Click the Federal Funded by a Federal agency list item.
Step 16Use the fields in the Copy Options region to copy project, project plan, financial plan, and financial information from the project template to the project that you are about to create.

Step 18Use the Financial Plans region to copy budget and forecast versions from the project template.
Step 19Select the financial plan versions that you want to copy to your project.
If you are the project manager for the project, then you can optionally create a baseline version when you copy a working budget version.
