You need a new laptop and printer. Your manager told you what specific laptop to order, but you may chose any printer from the catalog.
In this demonstration, you will create a requisition by searching the catalog for the laptop, and printer. You will compare different models of printers before adding your choice to the requisition.
Steps:
Use the Shop page to search for items. You can perform a simple search, or browse catalogs. The Shop page also displays status information about requisitions you entered.
You can also access quick links to entering requisition lines, shopping lists, smart forms, and creating noncatalog requests.
Step 1You don't know the model number of the laptop your manager wants you to purchase, but you do know the laptop has a 14" monitor. Perform a simple search based on the information you know.
Enter the desired information into the Search field. Enter
Click the Search button.
Step 3Use the Search Results page to review your search results. Items appear in a list from which you can sort, compare, add to your shopping list, or add to your requisition. You can expand your search results by expanding the Browse Catalog search option.
Step 4The search results yielded one 14" laptop.
Click the Add to Requisition button.
Step 5Verify the item was added to the requisition.
Step 6Click the Return to Shopping button.
Step 7Now, shop for a printer.

Step 9The search results yielded more than one printer. Compare items by adding printers to the Compare Items container. You can compare up to three items.
Step 10Click the Add to Compare button.
Step 11Verify the printer was added to the Compare Items container.
Step 12Add another printer to compare.
Click the Add to Compare button.
Step 13Verify both printers are in the Compare Items container.
Step 14Click the Compare button.
Step 15Use the Compare Items page to compare the attributes for up to three items from the catalog. You can add any of the compared items directly to your requisition, or click the Done button to return to shopping.
Step 16Add the Color Photo Printer to the requisition.
Click the Add to Requisition button.
Step 17Verify the item was added to the requisition.
Step 18Click the Edit and Submit button.
Step 19Use the Edit Requisition page to add justification details. You can alter the description of the requisition or change the quantity of items. Additionally, you can edit line details including delivery information, need-by-dates, and billing details.
Step 20Enter a justification for the requisition request.
