Creating Personal Payment Methods


In this demonstration you will create two payment methods for a person.


Steps:

  1. Click the Navigator link.

  2. Click the Payment Distribution link.

  3. Click the Manage Personal Payment Methods link.

    Step 3
  4. Search for the person whose payment method you want to create.

    Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Doogan"
    .

  5. Select the legislative data group of the person.

    Click the Sun Power list item.

  6. Enter the date as of which to make the new  payment methods effective for use.

    Enter the desired information into the Effective As-of Date field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "1/1/2012"
    .

  7. Click the Search button.

  8. Click the person name whose payment methods to create.

    Click the Doogan, Cologna link.

  9. Create the first payment method for check payments.

    Click the Create button.

  10. Select the check method of payment.

    Click the Sun Power Check list item.

  11. Enter the desired information into the Percentage field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "100"
    .

  12. Click the Submit button.

  13. You have successfilly created a check payment method for the person.

  14. Now create the payment method to electronically transfer a specific amount into the person's bank account.

    Click the Create button.

  15. Select the electronic funds transfer method of payment.

    Click the Sun Power NACHA list item.

  17. Enter the currency amount that you want to be transferred each payroll period.

    Enter the desired information into the Amount field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "200"

  18. Add the person's bank account details.

    Click the Create button.

  19. The Create Bank Account window displays where you specify the bank, branch, and account to receive payments.

  20. Find the person's bank.

    Click the Search... link.

  21. Enter the bank name.

    Enter the desired information into the Bank Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Wells Fargo"

  23. Select the bank name.

    Click an entry in the Bank Name column.

  25. Find the person's branch.

    Click the Search: Branch link.

  27. Enter the desired information into the Account Number field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "1234567"
