Steps:
Hello, my name is John and today I will talk about importing sales account information from a file.
Step 1In this demo, we review the sales accounts we imported
in the Customer Center UI.
Step 2This is the last in a series of demos that show how to import sales account data from a file.
In this series we imported a sample template you can download from support.oracle.com.
Step 3We sign in as a sales administrator user and navigate to the Customer Center.
Users with the Sales Administrator job role can view all customer information, including accounts.
Step 4Navigate to the Customer Center.
Click the Navigator link.
Step 5Click the Customers link.
Step 6In the Customers work area, click the Manage Customers link.
Step 7Now let's display all customers.
Step 8Click the Show list.
Step 9Select All Customers.
Step 10Let's search for the sales accounts we just imported by name.
Step 11Click the Query By Example button.
Step 12Enter "Blackmore".
Step 13Press [Enter].
Step 14Here are the two records we imported.
Let's drill down on the first one.
Step 15Click the Blackmore East Corps (Redwood City, US) link.
Step 16Here's the customer profile.
Step 17The Sales Account check box is selected so we know the customer was imported as a sales account.
Step 18Let's check the Contact Points.
Step 19Click the Expand Contact Points button.
Step 20Here is the phone number and URL.
Step 21In this demo, we verified the imported sales accounts.
