Verifying the Imported Sales Accounts



Steps:

  1. Hello, my name is John and today I will talk about importing sales account information from a file.

  2. In this demo, we review the sales accounts we imported

    in the Customer Center UI.

  3. This is the last  in a series of demos that show how to import sales account data from a file.

    In this series we imported a sample template you can download from support.oracle.com.

  4. We sign in as a sales administrator user and navigate to the Customer Center.

     

    Users with the Sales Administrator job role can view all customer information, including accounts.

  5. Navigate to the Customer Center.

     

    Click the Navigator link.

  6. Click the Customers link.

  7. In the Customers work area, click the Manage Customers link.

  8. Now let's display all customers.

  9. Click the Show list.

  10. Select All Customers.

  11. Let's search for the sales accounts we just imported by name.

  12. Click the Query By Example button.

  13. Enter "Blackmore".

  14. Press [Enter].

  15. Here are the two records we imported.

    Let's drill down on the first one.

  16. Click the Blackmore East Corps (Redwood City, US) link.

  18. The Sales Account check box is selected so we know the customer was imported as a sales account.

  19. Let's check the Contact Points.

  20. Click the Expand Contact Points button.

  22. In this demo, we verified the imported sales accounts.
