Steps:
Hello, my name is John, and today we are discussing customizing the Customer pages in the Simplified UI using Application Composer.
Step 1In this demo, I'll show you how to create a join field on the Sales Account object so that we can display our custom field in the list of sales accounts.
You must create a join field if you want to display fields that belong to other objects.
Step 2This is the fourth in a series of related demos that show you how to create a custom field on the organization profile object and then use a join to display the field in the UI of a related object, in this case the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.
Step 3To create the join field, we navigate to the Sales Account object which is available under the Customer Center application in Application Composer. This is the object that owns the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.
Step 4We select the Joins link.
Click the Joins link.
Step 5We want to expose an organization profile field, so we select the SalesAccountToOrganizationJoin.
Click the SalesAccountToOrganizationJoin link.
Step 6Let's create the join field.
Click the Create button.
Step 7We select the field we want to display.
Click the Related Object Field list.
Step 8We are looking for the Siebel Account Number. It's a long list, but we can press the letter"s" on the keyboard to skip through all the fields starting with an "s".
Enter the desired information into the Related Object Field field. Enter
Enter the desired information into the Related Object Field field. Enter

That's where it was hiding.
Press [Enter].
Step 14Now let's enter the field name we want to display in the list of sales accounts. We want to use the same name.
Enter the desired information into the Display Label field. Enter
Pressing any key populates the Name field. This is a technical name that must be unique. We are sure it's unique here, so we can save and we are done.
Click in the Name field.
Step 16Click the Save and Close button.
Step 17We could make our new join field required or read-only, but we don't need these options.
Step 18Click the Done button.
Step 19In this demo, you learned how to create a join field to display the field from one object in the UI region belonging to another object.
