Hello, my name is John, and today we are discussing customizing the Customer pages in the Simplified UI using Application Composer.
Step 1In this demo, I'll show you how to display the join field we created in the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.
Step 2This is the last in a series of related demos that show you how to create a custom field on the organization profile object and then use a join to display the field in the UI of a related object, in this case the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.
Step 3To display the join field in Application Composer, we begin by selecting the Pages link.
Click the Pages link.
Step 4We are displaying the field in the Simplified Pages.
Click the Simplified Pages tab.
Step 5This list of sales accounts appears in the Summary Table.
Click the Edit Summary Table link.
Step 6We must scroll to find the field.
Click the button of the scrollbar.
Step 7Click the button of the scrollbar.
Step 8Click the button of the scrollbar.
Step 9Click the Siebel Account Number - Join Field list item.
Step 11Click the Move selected items to other list button.
Step 12We are done so let's save and close.
Click the Save and Close button.
Step 13Here is the Customers page with the list of my sales accounts. The field we just displayed must be hidden.
