Displaying the Join Field in the List of Sales Accounts



Steps:

  1. Hello, my name is John, and today we are discussing customizing the Customer pages in the Simplified UI using Application Composer.

  2. In this demo, I'll show you how to display the join field we created in the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.

  3. This is the last in a series of related demos that show you how to create a custom field on the organization profile object and then use a join to display the field in the UI of a related object, in this case the list of sales accounts on the Customers page.

  4. To display the join field in Application Composer, we begin by selecting the Pages link.

     

    Click the Pages link.

  5. We are displaying the field in the Simplified Pages.

     

    Click the Simplified Pages tab.

  6. This list of sales accounts appears in the Summary Table.

     

    Click the Edit Summary Table link.

  7. We must scroll to find the field.

     

    Click the button of the scrollbar.

  11. Click the Siebel Account Number - Join Field list item.
