You are the sales manager and you need to adjust and submit the forecast for your Brazil territory hierarchy. In this demonstration you will learn how to make adjustments to territory forecasts and forecast items, reject and submit subordinate forecasts, and adjust and submit your own forecast.
Steps:
Click the 2011 - 2011/09/08 link.
Step 1A salesperson requests that you reject his territory forecast because he wants to make changes.
Click an entry in the RJ Components row.
Step 2Click the Actions menu.
Step 3Click the Reject list item.
Step 4The territory forecast shows rejected status.
Step 5The salesperson made changes and resubmitted his forecast for R J Components. Because it is now in submitted status, you can adjust forecast items for this territory.
Step 6Select a child territory forecast.
Step 7You cannot adjust forecast items for the unsubmitted forecast. You can, however, use the Submit button to submit the forecast on behalf of your subordinate.
Step 8You can adjust the child territory forecast at the summary level.
Click the Adjust menu.
Step 9Click the Adjust list item.
Step 10If you choose to adjust an unsubmitted forecast at the summary level, the application will first submit the territory forecast on behalf of your subordinate.
Step 11Click the OK button.
Step 12Enter your summary adjustments for the correct time periods.

Step 14Your forecast number includes adjustments made to subordinates forecasts. You are ready to enter the summary adjustment for your territory forecast.
Click an entry in the Brazil Electronics row.
Step 15Click the Adjust menu.
Step 16Click the Adjust list item.
Step 17The application submits all unsubmitted or rejected subordinate territory forecasts before you can enter the adjustment.
Step 18After you submit subordinate territory forecasts, the territory owners cannot change their forecasts.
Click the OK button.
Step 19You can enter either the adjustment amount as a positive or negative number, or enter the total adjusted forecast amount.
Click in the Adjusted Forecast field.
Step 20Enter the desired information into the Adjusted Forecast field. Enter

Step 22You can now submit your forecast.

Step 23You cannot make changes to your forecast unless your manager rejects your forecast.
