Steps:
You need to install the Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook public certificate on each user's laptop or PC. This ensures the secure exchange of data between Microsoft Outlook and Oracle Fusion CRM during synchronization.
Firstly, download the public certificate from the Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook preference page in the Oracle Fusion Sales application.
Next, open the Microsoft Management Console so that you can install the certificate.
Click the start button.
Step 1Click the Run button.
Step 2Enter "mmc" and then click the OK button.
Step 3Add the Certificates snap-in to the User account.
Click the File menu.
Step 4Click the Add/Remove Snap-in menu.
Step 5Click the Add button.
Step 6Double-click the Certificates list item.
Step 7Click the My user account option.
Step 8Click the Finish button.
Step 9Click the Close button.
Step 10Click the OK button.
Step 11Click the + button before the Certificates - Current User tree item.
Step 12Install the Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook public certificate in the Personal store.
Right-click the Personal tree item and click the All Tasks menu.
Step 13Click the Import menu.
Step 14Click the Next button.
Step 15Click the Browse button to navigate to the location of your downloaded Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook public certificate, then select the certificate.
Step 16Click the Next button.
Step 17Accept the default Personal certificate store.
Click the Next button.
Step 18Click the Finish button.
Step 19Next, you need to install the certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
Click the + button before the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tree item.
Step 20Right-click the Certificates tree item and click the All Tasks menu.
Step 21Click the Import menu.
Step 22Click the Next button.
Step 23Click the Browse button to navigate and select the same Oracle Fusion CRM for Microsoft Outlook public certificate you have just installed in the Personal store.
Step 24Click the Next button.
Step 25Accept the default Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
Click the Next button.
Step 26Click the Finish button.
