Creating Lead Ranking Rule: Warm


You are the Marketing Operations Manager. As new leads are generated, rule-based assignment of the qualification status helps to standardize the qualification process.

 

This is the second of a series of three lead ranking rules to show you how to set up classification rules for filtering creditable leads based on the ranking of the Leads Qualification Score.

 

The three rules are:

   1. Lead Ranking: Hot

   2. Lead Ranking: Warm

   3. Lead Ranking: Cool


Steps:

  1. All rules are part of a rule set. Prior to building this rule, a rule set called LeadRanking was added and saved. You can also see The HOTLeads rule that was previously built.

     

    Now you will add the rule and condition.

    Step 1
  2. Click the Add Row button.

    Step 2
  3. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "WARMLeads"
    .

  4. You pursue this class of leads after you have finished looking at all the hot leads.

     

    Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "Pursue these leads after HOT Leads"
    .

  5. Now you add the condition.

     

    Click the Add Row button.

  7. Click the Sales Lead list item.

  9. You need the Qualification Score attribute.

     

    Click the vertical scrollbar.

  13. Enter the desired information into the Value field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "100"

  14. Since there is a range of values for WARM leads you will need to add another condition.

     

    Click the Add Row button.

    Click the vertical scrollbar.

    Click the Less Than or Equals list item.

    Enter the desired information into the Value field. Enter

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "200"

     a valid value
     e.g.
     "WARM"
