Computer sales in Japan are expanding. You just hired a computer systems sales expert to assist your primary salesperson.
Steps:
You plan to add an overlay territory to your Japan territory for the new salesperson.
Starting from the Fusion Home page, navigate to the Territories and Quotas work area.
Step 1Click the Navigator link.
Step 2Click the Territories and Quotas link.
Step 3Create a new territory proposal to add the new territory. The overlay territory will overlap your prime territory for Japan.
Click the Manage Territory Proposals link.
Step 4Click the Create button.
Step 5Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter
Set your activation date to the following Monday, when your new salesperson is ready to start selling.
Enter the desired information into the Select Date field. Enter
Click the Save and View button.
Step 8Make your new overlay territory a child of the existing Japan territory.
Click the Japan object.
Step 9Click the Create child of selected territory button.
Step 10Enter the desired information into the Territory Name field. Enter
Select your new salesperson as the territory owner.
Click the Search: Owner link.
Step 12Click the Lisa Ryan list item.
Step 13Click in the Type field.
Step 14Click the Overlay list item.
Step 15Click the Save and Close button.
Step 16Click the Coverages tab.
Step 17The coverage for your new territory matches the coverage of the parent.
Click the Edit button.
Step 18Click the Dimensions list.
Step 19Click the Product list item.
Step 20The product Computer Systems is in the Vision Catalog.
Click the Computer Systems tree item.
Step 21Click the Add button.
Step 22Click the Save and Close button.
Step 23Activate your proposal and the territories become active on the activation date.
Click the Activate button.
Step 24You can cancel the activation and edit or delete your proposal.
Click the Done button.
Step 25The status of the proposal changes from draft to pending activation until the activation date.
