You are the Marketing Operations Manager. As new leads are generated, rule-based assignment of the qualification status helps to standardize the qualification process.
This is the first of a series of four lead assignment rules to show you how to set up matching candidate rules for assigning leads based on the ranking of the Lead's Qualification Score.
The four rules are:
1. Partner Sales Channel Rule
2. Direct Sales Channel Rule
3. Large Deal Rule
4. Small Deal Rule

After qualifying, scoring, and ranking the leads, now you can assign a salesperson to that lead for follow up and conversion to a sale.
As noted in other Assignment Manager rule demonstrations, a rule set has already been created to organize the rules. It is named Rule Based Lead Assignment.
Step 1In this rule, you check the sales channel to determine which resources get the lead. This rule will be for the partner sales channel and will assign the lead to Anthony Mason, one of the partner salespeople.
Step 2Click the Actions dropdown button to activate the menu.

Add the second condition to assigned a salesperson.
