Experimental Plug-ins for JRockit Mission Control

Oracle® JRockit Mission Control Experimental

The Experimental Plug-ins for Mission Control can be downloaded and installed using the Eclipse Update Site facility. The following URL functions as an update site. Novice users can follow the step-by-step instructions.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Before starting, make sure that you have downloaded and installed Eclipse 3.7 and installed the JRockit Mission Control base Plug-ins.

enlarge	Select Help > Install New Software... menu.
enlarge	Click on the Add... button. Name your update site JRockit Mission Control Experimental and fill in the following URL: http://download.oracle.com/technology/products/missioncontrol/updatesites/experimental/4.1.0/eclipse/
enlarge	Select the check box next to the experimental features you want to install. A short description will be displayed under the selection tree for the currently selected feature. Select as many or as few you wish, then click on the Next > button.
enlarge	View details for the selected features, then click on the Next > button.
enlarge	Select I accept the terms of the license agreement, then click on the Finish button.
enlarge	Wait for the plug-ins to be downloaded, then click the OK button in the Security Warning dialog.
enlarge	Click Restart Now to restart Eclipse and finish the installation.
