Impact

The Sun ONE/iPlanet Web Server is vulnerable to a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by a local or remote unprivileged user.


Contributing Factors

This issue can occur in the following releases:

  • Sun ONE/iPlanet Web Server 6.0 Service Pack 3 through 5

Note: This issue only affects the Windows Platforms.


Symptoms

If the described issue occurs, the web server exits unexpectingly.

There is no workaround. Please see the "Resolution" section below.
