Mapping Descriptors

Descriptors define mappings between classes and tables. To display the attributes in a specific class, expand the descriptor item in the Navigator (see Figure 1-2).

To Map a Descriptor:

Select a descriptor in the Structure window. Its properties appear in the Mapping Editor.
On the Descriptor Info tab, associate the descriptor with a database table (see "Setting Descriptor Information" ).
Select an attribute and click the appropriate mapping in the Mapping Editor.
