Moving Menu Items

In the Menu Editor, you can move menus and menu items by dragging and dropping them. When you move a menu item with submenu items, the submenu items move as well.

You can move menu items and submenu items:

Within a menu
To other menus

You move entire menus along the menu bar.

To move a menu item:

Click and drag the menu item or submenu item to the new location.
If you are dragging the menu item to another menu, drag it along the menu bar until the cursor points to the new menu.This action causes the menu to open, enabling you to drag the item to its new location.
Drop the menu item or submenu item at the new location.

To move a menu:

Click menu label in the menu bar and drag to the new location across the menu bar until the cursor points to the location where you want the menu to appear.
Drop the menu at the new location.
