Editing Synonyms

Edit online database synonyms and offline and modeled synonyms from the Edit Synonym dialog, or the Edit Offline Synonym dialog.

To edit an online synonym:

1. Select View Connection Navigator.
2. Expand Database and select a database connection.
3. In the connection, expand a schema.
4. In the schema, expand Synonyms.
5. Right-click a synonym name and select Edit , or double-click the synonym name.
6. The Edit Synonym dialog opens.
7. In the pages of the wizard enter parameters and select options to define the synonym.

To edit an offline synonym:

1. In the navigator, expand the workspace, project, and schema.
2. Right-click the offline synonym and choose P roperties.
   Or
   Double-click the offline synonym.
3. The Edit Offline Synonym dialog opens.
4. In the pages of the wizard enter parameters and select options to define the synonym.

To edit an offline synonym:
