By default, when testing, debugging, profiling, or CodeCoaching J2EE applications, JDeveloper runs the embedded Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J). When you are ready to deploy to an application server, you can deploy directly to any of the target application servers supported by JDeveloper.
