The J2EE application deployment information is contained within XML configuration files. Each application type has its own configuration files. For an EJB JAR file deployed to BEA WebLogic, two deployment descriptors are generated and used to define the EJB deployment descriptors:
ejb-jar.xmlhttp://www.javasoft.com/products/ejb/docs.htmlweblogic-ejb-jar.xmlweblogic-ejb-jar.xml file, please refer to the
current documentation for WebLogic Server 6.1 or later. The "Programming WebLogic
Enterprise JavaBeans WebLogic" documentation which contains this
information is currently located at: http://edocs.beasys.com/wls/docs61/ejb/reference.html To customize the EJB descriptors for WebLogic deployment (weblogic-ejb-jar.xml):
ejb-jar.xml
and orion-ejb-jar.xml files are automatically generated for you.
They appear in the Navigator in the specified project. weblogic-ejb-jar.xml is created when you deploy to an existing
WebLogic connection. Or, you can create
your own weblogic-ejb-jar.xml file as follows:
weblogic-ejb-jar.xml and choosing Settings.weblogic_ejb_jar.ear
file. Important: Whenever you edit the weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
file, make sure to include the updated version of this file in the EJB JAR file
you are deploying to your application server.
