Setting Descriptor Information

Use the Descriptor Info tab to associate a descriptor with a specific table in the database, define primary key(s), specify sequencing information, and set caching options.

To Map a Descriptor to a Table:

Select a descriptor in the Structure window. Its properties appear in the TopLink Mapping editor.
Click the Descriptor Info tab.

Use the Associated Table field to select or create a database table for the descriptor.
Complete each field on the Descriptor Info page.
