Working with the Database

Create and use database connections from within JDeveloper for a variety of tasks:

Develop and test database applications.
Browse database objects.
Create, edit, or delete database objects using JDeveloper, the SQL Worksheet, or SQL*Plus.
Use Java to execute SQL statements.
Access Oracle objects, PL/SQL Packages, Java stored procedures, and embed SQL in Java programs.
Work with offline versions of database definitions, and then generate those definitions to a file that is processed immediately or at a time you choose to create a table or other database objects via the database connection.
