Describing the Suggested Content Feature |
||||||
After enabling "SES to SES" federation, Timothy now wants to use the Suggested Content feature that SES provides. The Suggested Content is another way by which SES, using the user provided query, can provide real-time information or search results from a remote Information Source. This is possible by providing a Suggested Content Provider plug-in for the remote source. Using the Suggested Content feature, Timothy also enhances the search quality by suggesting actual content (as opposed to links) to be displayed in the result list. For example, when Andrew searches for contact information on a co-worker, Oracle SES fetches the content from the suggested content provider and returns the contact information (e-mail address, phone number, and so on) for that person in the result list. Suggested content results appear below any suggested links and above
the query results. Let's watch Timothy exploring the Suggested Content feature of SES.
