Defining Self-Service E-Mail Authentication
Oracle Corporation employees have requested the ability to locate e-mail messages through Oracle Secure Enterprise Search. The Oracle Corporation Information Search committee decides to add the option for users to include their e-mail as a search source. Of course, users will only be able to search their own e-mail folders.
Jodie creates an e-mail source in Oracle Secure Enterprise Search. She defines it as a self-service source so that users can enter their e-mail authentication credentials (also known as e-mail logon).
