Searching a Siebel 7.8 Activity Business Component
Kim, the Training Manager, uses the Siebel 7.8 application to store his activities list and all the related documents. He uses Oracle Secure Enterprise Search (SES) to search other information. It would be helpful for Kim, if he can use one search engine to search both his training schedules and other related information.
Jodie understands Kim's requirement, and configures a Siebel 7.8 source. Oracle SES 10.1.8.4 supports searching of Siebel 7.8 Activity Business component metadata and attachments. Jodie enables the connector and helps Kim to search all his training details along with attachments using Oracle SES.
