Customizing the Predefined ORDM BI EE Metadata (continued)

Now that Tom has created the new hierarchical level in the tables of the ORDM physical data model, he must carry this customization into the Physical, Business, and Presentation layers of the ORDM BI EE metadata repository.

The workflow of BI EE repository modification normally involves importing changes from the ORDM repository to the tables of the BI EE repository Physical layer, then cascading the changes to the Business layer, and finally modifying the tables in the Presentation layer.

Steps 4 and 5 indicate that you would finally modify the relevant reports and dashboards. These final report modification steps are listed later in this lesson.
