Base Data ModelThe Base Data Model delivers a set of models covering a standard variety of merchandise and promotion-planning capabilities.
Base models allow recording and retention of transaction details, which is useful for detail analysis, and useful for uncovering causal effects and associations.
Note: Base tables may not necessarily be at lowest level of granularity of the reference data. This is because some source data, such as sales plan, would only be available at a higher level, such as at the week or month levels, whereas the lowest level of the calendar is day.
