Oracle Data Mining

Oracle Data Mining is an option in the Oracle Database Enterprise Edition that embeds data mining functionality (data preparation, algorithms, model building, testing, scoring) into the database server.

Oracle Data Mining has built in metadata (model specs) in the Database (DMSYS).

It is recommended to:

• Set up a separate schema from normal DW
• Use partitioning & parallel execution
