Share from the Player Outline

UPK 12.1 provides a more flexible way to share content from the Player outline. In addition to linking directly to a piece of content, users now have the option to link to a specific location in an outline.

Steps:

1. Click the Share object.

   Step 1

2. Selecting this option will create a link which directs users to this item within the outline.

    

   Click the View outline option.

   Step 2

3. Copy the link.

    

   Press [Ctrl+C].

   Step 3

4. To illustrate what the recipient of this Share link will see, we'll open a new browser window.

   Step 4

5. The user clicks on the link or manually pastes it into the address bar of their browser.

   Step 5

6. When the page loads, they will see the UPK Player with the appropriate item selected in the outline.

   Step 6

This improved Share feature makes it even easier to share specific UPK content with colleagues.
