At the end of the UPK 12.1 Publishing Wizard, authors are able to perform several activities without closing the Publishing Wizard: view activity logs, open the location where the content was published, launch a published Player, and view the in-application support configuration information.
Steps:
First, we'll look at an outline that was published with errors.
Step 1Authors can access the activity log.
Step 2Click the Internet Explorer Main Window window.
Step 3And after the author has viewed the activity log, they return to the Publishing Wizard summary page where they have additional options.
Now let's open the location where the content was published.
Step 4Click the Close button.
Step 5Next, we'll look at summary page which includes a link to launch the published player and a link to view in-application support configuration information.
Step 6Launch the published Player.
Step 7Click the Internet Explorer Main Window window.
Step 8After closing the Player, the author returns to the Publishing Wizard summary page where they can launch the in-application information.
Step 9Click the Internet Explorer Main Window window.
Step 10The links on the Publishing Wizard summary page offer a much more useful way to view activity logs, launch content for verification, navigate directly to the published folder, or access important in-application configuration information.
