What would really be nice would be to finish and release the Woodstock
4.3 release so that our existing applications would be usable on Firefox
3.x. I think that is the least that Sun should do to help in this
situation.
After that, maybe transitioning Woodstock to a complete community driven
open source project would be beneficial. I know that I have a lot of
time invested in projects using Woodstock and simply dropping in another
component technology will not be trivial. Maybe there are enough of us
here that would be willing to continue the development of the components
package in a more open environment. I know I would be willing to
contribute.
